Looking Forward to PodCampAZ 2009

Man, is it November yet? I'll freely admit, I never used to look forward to November. However, that all changed in 2007. Ever since then, November means one awesome thing arrives soon: PodCampAZ! This November 14 and 15 brings us the third annual Podcasting and Relevant Media Unconference. Once again, it is being hosted at the incredible University of Advancing Technology campus in Tempe, AZ.

The first year it was only one day, and I attended the full day it was held. The second year it was expanded to two days, and I was only able to go part of the second day. I still regret having to miss part of it. This year, I am definitely planning to attend both days. I don't want to miss a thing!

PodCampAZ is a "bar camp" style "un-conference", however they actually do a lot of pre-planning for PodCampAZ. The sessions I have attended have been incredible, and though I've been podcasting almost 4 years now, I learn something new at each PodCampAZ. More than that, I have met some really awesome people there. Plus, you don't have to be a podcaster to attend -- many of the attendees are fans of podcasts, or they are bloggers, twitterers, and other social media users.

It is an awesome event, where everyone is a rock-star for a day, and you'll learn a lot about making cool stuff to share with the world. Oh, and did I mention it is TOTALLY FREE? You should visit PodCampAZ.org today, find out more about past sessions and presenters, and then subscribe to find out who's presenting this year. If you can make it out, make sure you register online so they can get a good indicator of the number of people coming. Again, it's FREE to register, but donations are welcome.

See you there!
