NaPodPoMo #30 - November Rain
Well this is it, the final day of National Podcast Post Month, and I somehow made it to post something everyday. Everyone, if you haven't checked it out yet, give Utterz.com a try. I couldn't have done this without them.

Hey everyone, if you don't already know about this, Episode 1 of MOREVI:Remastered dropped today. Go pick it up and fall in love with Rafe and Askana all over again!
NaPodPoMo #29 - Living Cookbook
Day 29 of NaPodPoMo finds more phone troubles. I actually connected this morning, but my phone died after recording 11 seconds. *sigh* Once again recording with my PDA.
Today I talked about a program I am using to organize recipes for my Vampyre Cookbook. The software, called Living Cookbook, is not only a great recipe database and search tool, but also generates Word documents with templates. It can create a Table of Contents, organize recipes into Chapters, and finish with an alphabetical index. This is exactly what I needed. I registered it last night for the very fair price of $30. If you are considering a recipe database, especially with plans to make your own cookbook, check this out at http://www.LivingCookbook.com/.

NaPodPoMo #28 - Dead Ringer
It's day 28 of NaPodPoMo, and my cell phone will not connect to Utterz at all this morning. So, I used my Palm Zire72's voice memo function to record the NaPodPoMo today. I hope the audio is OK. (It sounds a bit louder, but clearer than the cell calls.)
In any case, Santa, if you're listening, I could use a new cell phone. This one is suffering its death throes now, I think.

NaPodPoMo #26 - Alexandra
Day #26 (not 27 as I'd thought so early this morning) finds me feeling a little better. However, I was pretty bad Saturday night. I was still feeling cruddy Sunday, when I dropped my kids off at a birthday party at a Peter Piper Pizza. I probably would have stayed if I'd been feeling better. Their mom, my ex, was there and was going to take them home as per normal, so it was OK. Then Alexandra told me she forgot her backpack. She had spent Saturday night at Jill's house; she's a friend of my ex's, and is the mother of the little girl celebrating the birthday Sunday. I went back to my apartment to get Alex's backpack. As I got on the freeway to go back to the party, I got a call from her mom.
Alexandra collapsed... she was at the prize counter and just fainted. When she woke up she started vomiting and shaking. We called an ambulance. Get here fast.
I've never driven so fast in my life, and I was lucky I didn't catch any patrols.
I made it to the party and friends there told me the ambulance just left and took her to Mendy's Place, which is a local children's emergency room. I got there a few minutes later, and they were just getting her into a room.
She looked more scared than anything else, as any 11 year old might after passing out and being taken in an ambulance to the hospital. She threw up four more times while there, mostly dry heaves. The doctors did an xray and didn't find anything. Everything else seemed fine, too. So they figured she had a stomach virus and was probably dehydrated, hence why she passed out. No other cause though.
She's fine now, though still staying home from school just in case. I'm doing OK today, too. But this is what really sucks about having the stomach and digestive problems that I have on a regular basis. I just assumed it was another flare-up for me on Saturday. I never would have guessed I might have been ill and that Alex might have caught the same bug.

NaPodPoMo #25 - Unwell
I feel awful today, this 25th day of NaPodPoMo. I'm hoping I'll feel better soon so I don't miss any work. But what's worse is I missed a chance to visit friends last night and I couldn't make it. I'm headed back to bed to try to shake this nastiness.

NaPodPoMo #24 - Stray Utterz
Hey folks, I'm back with another Stray Utter for NaPodPoMo day 24. Apparently Utterz has been receiving my calls the last few days but with a "44" prepended to my phone number, thus they couldn't be associated with my account. For now, though, I know which strays are mine, and I have roped this one in for today. They are working to resolve this, so the process will again be solid soon, I hope.

NaPodPoMo #23 - Black Friday
This is day 23 of NaPodPoMo, and I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Today is Black Friday and I plan to stay in today. Going to spend today with the kids and enjoy some time with them. Tomorrow will bring some shopping perhaps. Also I need to wrap up my work for the December issue of the newsletter for SelfPublishedAuthors.com this weekend.
Also, for Utterz support out there, this is day two that my cell phone calls are not being posted. I sent some feedback and I hope someone can take a peek into this. Thanks. :)

NaPodPoMo #22 - Happy Thanksgiving!
It's Day #22 of NaPodPoMo, and I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Michelle and I are getting the kids ready to head over to my parents for dinner... and pie! The turkey, dressing and all the trimmings, that's just foreplay! We know it's all about the pie!

NaPodPoMo #21 - Bring on the Pies!
Day 21 of NaPodPoMo starts off with light traffic on this Thanksgiving Eve. I hope everyone's plans for the holiday week are coming along and you are all travelling safely.
My plans for providing dishes for Thanksgiving at my parents in Phoenix is to bring the pies! Huzzah! What are the plans for your celebration? Where are you headed?
With the beta release of my OPML Reader for Facebook, I am turning my attention back to my interfaith calendar and the Vampyre Cookbook. I have been finding some really great recipes and I am looking forward to trying many of them. If you have any you'd like to submit, please send me recipes and ideas at VampyreCookbook.com.

NaPodPoMo #20 - IM IN UR FACEBOOK LOL
NaPodPoMo Day 20! Celebrating a score of random roaming ramblings!
Today I announce that my first Facebook app is now in Beta release and needs folks like you to play with it. It is an OPML Reader app for Facebook to let you share your podcasts and blogrolls from OPML files on your Facebook profile.
With the OPML Reader app, all you have to do is point to the URL of an OPML that has a list of all of your links. Of course this only helps you if you have such a file, but many aggregators can do this. Newsgator is a prime example.
I hope you like the application. Also, if you want to learn how to make your own Facebook app, I am releasing the PHP4 source code for this one as Open Source. Check it out at http://sourceforge.net/projects/fb-opml/ and feel free to download it and hack away.
To add the app, visit http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=7142706554 and feel free to drop by my FaceBook page to see it in action and perhaps add me as a friend. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=500059912

NaPodPoMo #17 - Weekend projects
Day 17 of NaPodPoMo and I am at home working on some web projects. I'm hoping to get out of here tonight with Michelle to enjoy an evening out with friends. Sami is here to babysit so here's hoping.
I am eagerly looking forward to watching Beowulf tomorrow night. I'm thinking we'll see it at the Cine Capri Tempe before seeing it in IMAX 3D. Has anyone seen it yet, and if so, what did you think?

NaPodPoMo #16 - Blessed be
For Day 16 of NaPodPoMo I end up on another small rant. This time I'm a bit concerned about an "investigative" news story about Wiccans in Mesa, AZ.

Sometimes I wonder why news stations run stories about Wicca. Halloween is the chief reason, of course. However, stories like this seem to be heavy handed -- it's an "investigative" piece about Wicca in Mesa, AZ.
NaPodPoMo #15 - Summer is over!
Day 15 of NaPodPoMo and summer is finally over in Scottsdale! It was a little cooler this morning (about 65 degrees F) and we even have storm clouds. I stopped to get gas and paid $2.91 per gallon. It's over $3 at other local stations. How bad are the rates where you live?

NaPodPoMo #14 - Short one today
Day 14 of NaPodPoMo, and precious little time to chat. Maybe I'll call in again later for more. For now, I am off to take my step-son Josh to a doctor's appt, then to school, and myself off to work.

Building a full-sized, Halloween Coffin Prop can be a big hit at your Halloween party filled with a plastic liner, ice, beer, and red wine. It can be used as a real Toe Pincher Coffin; this simple, full-sized coffin stands over six feet. This coffin can
NaPodPoMo #13 - VampyreCookbook.com
Day 13 of NaPodPoMo and the weather is a bit cooler, but still unseasonably warm and I'm not complaining! I am ranting though, about the fact that our local Dave & Busters took out the Air Hockey tables... because they were dangerous. :(( Oh well, guess we'll have to stick to WiiPlay!
Also, Michelle and I have ANOTHER project. ;-) This one is called The Vampyre Cookbook! That's right, an honest-to-darkness cookbook full of recipes from blood pudding to bloody marys and everything in between. Take a peek at http://www.VampyreCookbook.com or at the place we are collecting submissions, at http://www.OutOfTheCoffin.com/cookbook for more.

NaPodPoMo #12 - Case of the mondays
This is Day 12 of NaPodPoMo, and once again I salute Veteran's Day, and those who have the day off. ;-)
I have a book I need to mail off to Madrid, but I presume the Post Office will be closed. The book is for a fellow user of http://BookMooch.com, which I recommend everyone check out.

NaPodPoMo #10 - From a spiderhole in Scottsdale
This is my podcast for NaPodPoMo Day 10, and I get a wee bit political. This one is for you Dani. A few months back I re-registered as an Independent in preparation for the elections to come; I was previously reg. a Republican. Yesterday I received a letter from the AZ Republican Party asking me to come back to the flock. Ain't gonna happen, and I prattled on about that today.
